Confirmation

***Please note that these policies and procedures apply only to practicing Catholics over the age of 18. If you are preparing to receive Confirmation in OCIA or in our Religious Education classes, this does not apply to you.***

Thanks be to God for your desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation! You will find the steps for preparation below.

Confirmations for Catholics date: Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 8am Mass  

1. Those desiring to be confirmed as adults need to be registered parishioners for 2 months before the scheduled confirmation. Please reach out to the parish secretary if you need to register (contact info below).
2. Fill out the confirmation registration form below.
3. Upon your completion of the confirmation registration, please retrieve a Mass Attendance Stamp Card after one of the weekend Masses. There is a card stamping station in the narthex. Your Stamp Card should be filled out with 6 Sundays stamped (or signed by other priests from other parishes) before you may be confirmed.
4. Please that your sponsor has completed and returned the Godparent/Sponsor Affirmation of Faith and Morals form below by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
5. Watch Symbolon Series on FORMED.ORG, (linked below) by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
6. Write a Letter to the Pastor expressing your understanding of Confirmation, and why you desire to receive the sacrament postmarked and mailed to the address below by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
7. Contact the Parish Secretary to schedule a 30 min in-person Meeting with the Pastor for an interview and brief assessment of learning after completion of Symbolon Series.
